LYRA Yachts — MCP Connector

Read-only access to LYRA's curated yacht catalog and 5-year ownership-cost (TCO) engine.

LYRA turns its curated yacht catalogue into clear answers. Search by size, budget and use, then get a transparent 5-year total cost of ownership — marina, crew, insurance, registration, maintenance, fuel and charter offsets — computed from LYRA reference data. The connector is public and read-only; a LYRA advisor handles the rest.

Tools

All five tools are read-only (annotated readOnlyHint: true, destructiveHint: false) and never write data.

`search_yachts` Search yachts	Search the curated LYRA catalog by structured filters (length, price, guests, category, shipyard) and/or a natural-language description for semantic ranking. Returns matching models with key specs and a link.
`get_yacht` Get yacht details	Fetch full details for one yacht by UUID or URL slug — specs, lifestyle highlights, and gallery.
`get_ownership_cost` Ownership cost (TCO)	The differentiated LYRA model: total 5-year cost of ownership — marina, crew, insurance, registration, capex, fuel, and (in charter mode) charter revenue. Private or charter, EUR/USD, four regions. Answers “what does this yacht actually cost to own” before commitment.
`get_similar_yachts` Similar yachts	Find yachts similar to a given one by length, price, guests, and category.
`request_advisor` Contact a LYRA advisor	Returns a handoff link to speak with a LYRA broker. Read-only — no side effects, no data written.

Transport & protocol

Endpoint: POST https://mcp.lyra.yachts/mcp (stateless Streamable HTTP).
Authentication: none — public, read-only.
Health check: GET /health.

Data & privacy

The server returns curated reference data only. It collects no personal data; tool-call telemetry is anonymous and bucketed. See the Privacy Policy (incl. the AI Assistant Connectors clause) and Terms of Use.

Troubleshooting

Tools don't appear after adding the connector: remove and re-add the connector so the client re-lists tools.
A tool returns “not found”: call search_yachts first to obtain a valid id or slug, then pass it to get_yacht / get_ownership_cost.
Ownership cost shows a tailored-budget message instead of a calculator: expected for 50m+ yachts and for models with no listed price/length — the breakdown is prepared individually by a LYRA broker.
Rate limited (HTTP 429): the public endpoint is throttled per IP; retry after a short pause.
